The Physician Assistant (PA) class of 2013 participated in a holiday donation drive in December 2011. The students chose to donate supplies to the Operation Christmas Child which is an outreach drive affiliated with Samaritan’s Purse International Relief. The organization sends out shoe boxes filled with items for children ages 3 to 14. The donated items included toys, books, school supplies, clothing, soap and toothbrushes.
The PA students also donated canned food to help the local food bank. Those students who participated would especially like to recognize their class Vice-President, Caroline Pilgrim, who took the initiative to setup these drives.
