Jefferson College of Health Sciences is a private, health sciences college in Roanoke, Virginia. We are a professional college, offering Masters of Science degrees in Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Physician Assistant, baccalaureate degrees, and associate degrees in healthcare. As a proud affiliate of Carilion Clinic, we are fully integrated with one of the largest health systems in Virginia.
If you see fire apparatus and rescue personnel at the Reid Center on the JCHS campus over the weekends during the summer, don't be alarmed. The College is working with the Roanoke City Fire Department in training exercises.
On Saturday mornings, nine fire training exercises will be conducted. These exercises will not involve the fire alarm system or need for capturing the elevators. However, they will utilize one elevator during the 30 minute events.
