On Monday, March 20, 2017, the Jefferson College of Health Sciences Student Occupational Therapy Club (SOTA) hosted a community fundraiser and sign-up event for the 2017 Komen Virginia Blue Ridge Race for the Cure® in The Dog House on the fourth floor of Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital on the Jefferson College campus.
The event gave participants a chance to sign up online for the 2017 event in Roanoke on April 29, check out a SOTA Club Bake Sale and win prizes—special recognition went to Surgical Technology student Robyn Weaver, who wore the pinkest outfit. Great job, Robyn!
If weren't able to make it to the community fundraiser and sign-up event, you can still sign up to participate 2017 Komen Virginia Blue Ridge Race for the Cure® on April 29. Be sure to join the Jefferson College team by going to http://vablueridge.info-komen.org/goto/JCHS and choosing the Jefferson College of Health Sciences team, with team captain Karen Layman!
